LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
We believe that every human being was intended to have an abundance of spirit, energy, creativity, relationships, love and the capacity and right to meet all their basic needs – good food, decent housing, a good paying job, good health and health care, opportunities for their children and the opportunity to grow old without being hungry or homeless. In our methodology we discuss the world as it is and the world as we would like it to be. In order for us to live in the world that we want - we have to build it!
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
Our organizing methodology and plan for leaders includes: 1) understanding and acknowledging their own interests, needs and ambitions; 2) creating organizational structures that connect each of them to others and their interests, needs and ambitions; and 3) through training, strategic planning and action, build enough people power to bend the political arc toward justice and equity. The methodology focuses on intense leadership development, collective planning and public action. These steps create confidence, success and relationships that can build the community necessary to engage fully and move from powerlessness to understanding, seeking and exercising power.
